At PURE: People United Reaching Everyone, we have an expert team that is dedicated to answering your product and nutrition questions.
Here are the most popular questions from the previous few weeks. You might find a topic related to a question you have.
Q: Can PURE Perk be taken once a day, every day and for an extended time?
A: We recommend taking it once a day but it can safely be taken up to twice a day. The second serving should be taken four hours after the first serving, as the label suggests. Do not take the product within four hours before bedtime, and do not exceed two servings per day.
Q: How many times a day can you take GPS Circulate?
A: It can be taken 30 minutes before exercise. If desired, it may be taken at bedtime with GPS Reset. For the average, healthy person, we do not recommend more than two servings a day. For an athlete who heavily trains, three times a day would be fine as well. Higher amounts of L-arginine and L-citrulline might cause osmotic diarrhea. Taken at separate times throughout the day would negate this effect. GPS Circulate contains vitamins and amino acids. L-arginine is an amino acid used to improve athletic capacity, muscle growth, sexual performance and cardiovascular function. It also stimulates the immune system.*
Q: Can I take products by PURE together or must I use them individually? Which products are compatible, and which are not?
A: Many of products by PURE can be taken together. We do not suggest taking products containing caffeine together, or before bed time. You can find recommended use on each label and online to identify which products are recommended at what time throughout the day and with/without food.
Q: What is the difference between Organic Sulfur and the sulfur that causes some people an allergic reaction?
A: Sulfur is one of the most abundant elements in the human body and is essential to life. Sulfur is found in many foods that we eat, including fish, poultry, eggs, milk, onions, garlic and cabbage. When people say they are allergic to sulfur, they mean that they’re either sensitive to sulfites, which are preservatives found in red wines and some foods, or that they are allergic to sulfonamides, found in sulfa antibiotic drugs. Sulfites and sulfonamides, even though they sound like sulfur, are very different and have unrelated mechanisms of action. It is safe to use MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), the only ingredient in Organic Sulfur. This chemical is in animals, humans and many plants. When a person says they have a sulfa allergy or sulfite sensitivity.
Q: We noticed a change in taste to the Liquid Cleanse. Was there a formula change?
A: The herbs used in Cleanse are from naturally growing plants. The herbs may be harvested during different seasons and may come from different areas. These can cause a variation in taste. The formula has not changed.
Q: Can products by PURE cause a false positive on a 10-panel drug test?
A: Absolutely not. Our weight loss products do not contain ingredients that would cause false positive results on drug tests. Our GPS line of products (GPS Hydrate, GPS Energize, GPS Circulate, GPS Rebuild and GPS Reset) have been tested and are Informed-Sport Certified.
