Meet IBO Karidon Roundy

After staying home for two years after the birth of her first child, Karidon was ready for a change. She was looking for an opportunity that would not only benefit her health but her financial situation as well.

Friends introduced her to products by PURE and she joined the company in November 2017. She has since reached the rank of Sapphire.

“As a stay-at-home mom, I was feeling stuck in where I was at in life. I realized that something needed to change. I started taking products by PURE and experienced changes in my body, my mental state and my overall health. Sharing my journey with others is what has helped me build my business and make a financial change for me and my family. I am thankful every day for PURE and the opportunity to be home with my kids and still help the family out financially.”

Karidon’s favorite products are ENERGY, the GPS Sports Performance line, Mila and all the Superfruits. She enjoys mixing Mila in shakes, applesauce, muffins, yogurt and pancake mix. Her family’s favorite recipe is Mila pudding, made by combining Mila with chocolate almond milk and letting it sit to thicken to a pudding. She also loves mixing GPS Hydrate with ENERGY. Her favorite flavor combination is watermelon and fruit punch.

Karidon’s advice for anyone seeking the PURE opportunity, “Really dive into other people’s success stories while you’re building your own. It shows you what’s possible and how others are benefitting from the products and changing their lives. It’s inspiring!”

Karidon and her family live in Lyman, Wyoming.

National Hug a G.I. Day

Today, March 4, is National Hug a G.I. Day! It’s a special day to literally “march fourth” and embrace a soldier with our love!

The men and women of our country sacrifice beyond measure. Not only do they fight for our freedom, but they serve as role models during natural disasters, they provide humanitarian relief, and they deliver Whole Health! Today, and every day, we owe them a great big hug, and you can do that right here by giving back to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV): https://livepure.com/giveback/.

General Dwight D. Eisenhower said in 1945, “The truly heroic figure of this war [is] G.I. Joe and his counterpart in the air, the navy, and the Merchant Marine of every one of the United Nations.”1  Heroes are everywhere. We admire them for their courage, their leadership, their outstanding achievements and their noble qualities. At PURE, we pride ourselves on the many heroes who choose to help others maximize their true potential through health and wellness.* These Independent Business Owners (IBOs) know what it means to give back and they have a tremendous passion for others.

There’s no question that the direct selling industry is a great avenue for active and retired military and their spouses. There is flexibility in owning your own company and no formal qualifications are required. Probably one of the greatest things about direct selling is the value that the industry puts on improving the lives of others. At PURE, we strive to deliver high-quality products for your physical health, an income opportunity for your financial health, relationships and events for your mental and spiritual health and opportunities to give back for your philanthropic health.

Active and retired military interested in joining PURE can enjoy free enrollment during their first year. Reach out to our exceptional sales support team by emailing salessupport@livepure.com or calling 866-535-5888.

We are PURE: People United Reaching Everyone – a supportive community that does more than just give back, we reach out and empower lives. Today’s the day to visit https://livepure.com/giveback/ and hug a GI today.

Follow the Seven Cs to success!

Have you heard of the Seven Cs of Effective Writing? Be clear, coherent, concise, complete, consistent, correct and credible. As a writer, I live by this mantra because I communicate with a wide audience every day.

So why do I bring this up, and what do the Seven Cs have to do with direct selling? Well, as a writer in the direct selling industry, I believe that this same logic can be applied to business builders. In addition to having amazing leadership skills, PURE business builders can achieve success by implementing the seven Cs.

The Seven Cs of Business Building

  1. CLEAR – Being clear means being transparent. For anyone to have a healthy relationship, they need to be able to have others trust and confide in them. Know your ‘Why’ and make sure that what you say is consistent with that ‘Why’. If you truly want to help others, they will sense it and will follow you.
  2. COHERENT – Similar to “clear”, coherent means to be unified, or to create a culture of unity. The PURE family is anchored in a strong foundation. We deliver Whole Health through high-quality products, opportunity, relationships and philanthropy. Build upon that by finding and developing good people. Remember the acronym TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More.
  3. CONCISE – You must be concise in your messages. Communicating briefly yet comprehensively and professionally is highly important. Remember this in every text you send, phone calls you make, with every training meeting you conduct and in every conversation you have with a customer.
  4. COMPLETE – When we’re complete, we’re fulfilled. Fulfillment is something you can achieve with a successful PURE business. By helping others achieve their health and wellness goals, you can fulfill your own goals.
  5. CONSISTENT – It’s important to be consistent and persistent. To be a great leader, your followers must believe that you will not give up on them or on the goal you are working together to achieve. Schedule weekly meetings and stick to them. Consistency creates momentum and success!
  6. CORRECT – You hear it again and again, be a product of the product. If you don’t know your products because you aren’t using them or haven’t even tried them, you can’t share them confidently, or correctly. You certainly don’t want to share incorrect information. You don’t know have to know every answer but know where you can seek out answers. It is better to share the right answer than a quick answer that may be incorrect, which will lead to the next “C” of Credibility.
  7. CREDIBLE – Along with being correct, you want to be believable. People must know, like and trust you before they will do business with you. Sampling is the best way to help your prospects “try it out” and see for themselves what a product can do for them. Once they see the results, they’ll believe in you and the company. And, they’ll be a champion of your business once they see success!

So there you have it. If you can C it, you can do it!

Take these to heart and make 2019 your best year yet!

HealthTrim® Matcha Vegan Shake, Part II

We just introduced our newest product, HealthTrim® Matcha Vegan Shake. This unique product takes the power of organic matcha green tea leaves and combines it with sacha inchi, chlorella and other ingredients for a nutritious meal replacement that helps support weight management, sustained energy, and stress reduction.*

As we continue our blog series, we will focus on sacha inchi seeds, a powerful ingredient in HealthTrim Matcha Vegan Shake.

Sacha inchi (Plukenetia volubilis) is a plant native to Peru that produces large, edible seeds rich in protein. Sacha inchi is also known as sacha peanut, jungle peanut, or Inca peanut. The nutrient-dense seeds are often consumed lightly toasted and whole, in protein powder form, or as the extracted oil which is taken as a dietary supplement.

Sacha inchi oil is a rich source of vitamin E and alpha-linolenic acid, a plant-based omega-3 fatty acid found in flaxseed oil. Sacha inchi seeds are a whole food that are easily digestible and provide fiber, iron, amino acids and omega fatty acids for sustained energy.

A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry in 2002 found that sacha inchi is unusually high in tryptophan, an amino acid essential to the production of serotonin (a nervous system chemical involved in regulating appetite). 1 Sacha inchi may help promote weight loss by increasing serotonin production.

HealthTrim Matcha Vegan Shake, in vanilla or dark chocolate flavors, is a great way to jump-start your weight loss and get your morning started. It can help control appetite which in turn helps the body use fat as an energy source. It also aids in healthy digestion and cleansing. And, it greatly enhances metabolism.

Replace up to two meals a day and use in conjunction with the entire HealthTrim product line to help support your weight management goals. Be sure to consult your healthcare provider prior to use if you are pregnant or nursing or are beginning a weight loss program.

Order yours today at livepure.com, and let us know your thoughts in the comments!

IBO Nina Farrow – Plugging in and playing golf

Nina Farrow, Platinum IBO,  first discovered PURE when while she was in the hospital and someone introduced the products to her.

She later discovered the financial opportunity with PURE and the way the products sell themselves. She chose to  concentrate on the business in her hometown near Houston, Texas.

Healthy habits help set the stage.

Nina stays plugged in to her daily routine and concentrates on the business side of things by helping her team advance in rank and recruit new prospects. Nina believes that by attending PURE events, plugging into the training calls, and making time for personal development further sets that stage for success. “I also enjoy meeting people with integrity, positive attitudes and having a purpose in life and helping others change their lives.” – Nina Farrow

Her favorite quotes:

  • “Never quit.”
  • “For things to change, I have to change; for things to get better, I have to get better.”
  • “Use your upline and make time for personal development.”

In addition to her PURE business, Nina enjoys playing golf with her husband Robert and her children. She also volunteers her time at church. Robert and Nina will be traveling to Dallas in May for the 2017 Emerging Leadership Retreat.
