And if you’re exercising and trying to eat healthy, there’s nothing better than a protein-packed, strawberry smoothie brimming with goodness and guaranteed to satisfy.

If you aren’t using a protein powder, PURE’s Strawberry 360 Complete Shake mix is a great way to sneak extra protein into your diet. Protein helps you feel full longer and, because your body uses more energy to digest protein, you burn more calories when you have it on board.

Whey and pea proteins also contribute to the robust 19 grams of protein, and the its packed with 25 essential vitamins and minerals from 100 percent organic, all-natural sources.

So, if you’re looking for a way to get your strawberry fix AND sip something that tastes pretty much like a thick and creamy milkshake (without any guilt!), you’ve got to give this recipe a spin. And for an added dose of healthy carbs and potassium, throw in half of a banana. Topping it off with a few Mila Chia seeds gives you another boost of plant-based protein and fiber—and even more good-for-you nutrients.

HealthTrim® Matcha Vegan Shake

Have you had your matcha this morning?

If a cup of green tea is part of your daily routine, matcha just may be your next big thing! It’s quickly gaining popularity even though it dates back to the Chinese Tang Dynasty. Whether you have heard of matcha before or not, we think you’ll really like all it has to offer.

Matcha is a concentrated form of green tea that is highly regarded in Japan. It is prized for its ability to create a sense of calmness. Green tea, as we know, is rich in antioxidants and can help improve cognitive function and boost metabolism. Now imagine multiplying those benefits! With matcha, the whole tea leaf is consumed, not just brewed. It is often stone-ground into a smooth powder so you get more of that herbal potency.

Enjoy clean and lean, plant-based protein!

HealthTrim® Matcha Vegan Shake, in vanilla or dark chocolate flavors, is a great way to get your morning started and jump-start your weight loss. It can support the body’s use of fat as a source of energy which may help control your appetite. It also aids in healthy digestion and cleansing.

This nutritious drink combines premium, ceremonial-quality green tea leaves with sacha inchi, a whole food that provides fiber, iron, all essential amino acids and omega fatty acids for sustained energy. Chlorella, an ingredient rich in antioxidants and other phytonutrients, offers potent, free radical fighting capabilities.

The powerful ingredients in this unique drink are reason enough to add this superfood to your daily regimen. In this series, take a closer look at the ingredients that make up Matcha, starting with organic matcha.

Organic matcha

It’s all about the green leaves and the way they are grown that makes matcha unique. The preparation starts several weeks before harvest when the plants are shaded from direct sunlight. This slows down their growth, stimulates an increase in chlorophyll, turns the leaves a darker shade of green, and starts the production of amino acids.

The leaves are then picked, steamed dried and stone-ground into a fine, bright green powder. Once matcha is made, it can be combined with hot or cold water or a milk substitute to produce a nutritious drink. One cup of matcha contains the antioxidants of more than 100 cups of regular tea!1

Replace up to two meals a day and use in conjunction with the entire HealthTrim product line to help support your weight management goals. Be sure to consult your healthcare provider prior to use if you are pregnant or nursing or are beginning a weight loss program.
